  11. My bank of PPI PM288MT II v.34 has problems with connecting to RPI modems as 
  12. well as PCMCIA Megahertz PC3288 and XJ1144 modems.  The Megahertz modems just 
  13. disconnect immediately while the RPI modems as a general rule never allow me 
  14. to establish the network connection but stay online.
  15. On my PPIs my init string is ats0=1q1m0&k3&d3&c1e0&w.
  16. My port speed is set some at 115200 and some at 57600.
